We recommend carefully reading this Legal Notice and the other policies associated with the App (Terms of Use and Privacy Policy). Use of the App implies full acceptance of all its conditions and submission to Spanish legislation, expressly waiving any other jurisdiction.

Guarantees and Responsibilities

SPASCAT provides access to official agricultural parcel information and mapping services through the App in a purely informative and non‑commercial manner.

Users accept sole responsibility for the use they make of the App and its contents and undertake not to carry out any actions contrary to law, public order, or the conditions established in this Legal Notice or in the Terms of Use.

SPASCAT reserves the right, at any time and without prior notice, to modify the App’s content, configuration, or availability, as well as to suspend or discontinue its access temporarily or permanently.

SPASCAT cannot guarantee:

  1. The absence of interruptions, errors, or technical failures in the operation of the App or the services it connects to.
  2. The accuracy, completeness, or currency of the data obtained from third‑party sources such as SIGPAC, Mapbox, MapTiler,
  3. The continued accessibility of external links or resources offered through the App.

SPASCAT shall not be held liable for damages arising from:

  • Internet connection problems or the malfunction of external systems;
  • interference, omissions, or computer failures caused by third parties;

Intellectual and Industrial Property

The App and all its elements—design, source code, logos, graphics, texts, icons, and other content—are protected by Spanish and international intellectual‑ and industrial‑property laws.

All rights belong to SPASCAT TECHNOLOGIES S.L. or to third parties who have authorized their use through their respective licenses. Any unauthorized reproduction, distribution, public communication, transformation, or exploitation, whether total or partial, constitutes an infringement of legally recognized rights.

Third‑party intellectual property appearing in the App remains the exclusive property of its respective owners:

  • The SIGPAC registry and parcel data are public information provided by the Government of Spain and remain subject to official terms of use.
  • The Mapbox, MapTiler names, logos, and services are trademarks of their respective owners.
  • All other trademarks or names appearing in the App are used for identification purposes only.

Use of the App does not confer to the user any license or transfer of rights over SPASCAT’s or third parties’ intellectual property.

Privacy

SPASCAT guarantees the confidentiality of the personal data processed through the App and the application of the security measures required by current regulations. For detailed information, please refer to our [Privacy Policy] available within the App or on our official website.

Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

This Legal Notice is governed by Spanish law. For any dispute or interpretation related to its content, the parties submit to the Courts and Tribunals of Barcelona (Spain), unless otherwise established by applicable law.
