Sorraline API available
Sorraline, our shoreline extraction service, can now be accessed via API, allowing integration to thrid party services.

Spascat has recently partnered and started a collaboration with coste360.it, a platform dedicated to the monitoring and management of Italian coastlines. Through this partnership, our shoreline extraction service, Sorraline was made available to coste360.it and its users, supporting their efforts to provide up-to-date and reliable coastal information.
API access to Sorraline
Stemming from the integration, we have released a new API that allows direct programmatic access to Sorraline’s capabilities. The API enables users to register regions of interest, retrieve and process satellite imagery, and automatically extract coastline vectors for any selected area and date. All results are delivered in standard formats suitable for use in GIS applications, and the process is secured through OAuth2 authentication.
This new access method allows our partners to incorporate Sorraline’s shoreline monitoring into their own workflows and applications, making it easier to track coastal changes, compare historical data, and support effective beach management.
Integrate sorraline into your workflow
If you are a company, institution, or individual interested in integrating shoreline monitoring into your own workflows, whether to objectively measure the effects of climate change, validate local conservation policies, manage beach real estate concessions, or track changes to seaside infrastructure, you can contact us at info@spascat.com to request a demonstration. Alternatively, you can create an account on Sorraline to access the API documentation and explore how our services can support your coastal management needs.
