SIGPAC Monitor - Terms of Use

1. Introduction

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Sigpac Monitor mobile application (the “App”), owned and operated by SPASCAT TECHNOLOGIES S.L., NIF: B72935513, with registered address at C/Figueres nº 26, 08320 El Masnou, Catalunya, Spain (“SPASCAT”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). Use of the App implies full acceptance of these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Legal Notice. If you do not agree, please refrain from using the App.

2. Purpose of the App

The purpose of Sigpac Monitor is to enable users to easily browse and visualize public agricultural parcel information published through the official SIGPAC (Sistema de Información Geográfica de Parcelas Agrícolas) service of the Government of Spain. The App is purely informational. SPASCAT does not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or currency of the data displayed.

3. Use of the App

You agree to use the App in accordance with applicable law, morality, public order, and these Terms. In particular, you agree not to:

  • Attempt to interfere with or alter the functioning of the App or the services on which it relies.
  • Use the App or displayed data for unlawful, misleading, or unauthorized purposes.
  • Copy, distribute, modify, or commercially exploit the App or its content except as expressly allowed.
  • Circumvent or remove any technological protections embedded in the App.

SPASCAT reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App, or any part thereof, at any time and without prior notice.

4. Third‑Party Services and Data Sources

The App depends on external providers whose services are subject to their own terms and privacy policies:

SPASCAT does not control and is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or operation of these third‑party services.

5. Intellectual Property

All rights related to the App’s code, design, interface, and content belong to SPASCAT TECHNOLOGIES S.L. or its licensors. Third‑party materials (including SIGPAC data, Mapbox, MapTiler, and Firebase elements) remain the property of their respective owners and are used under their terms.

Use of the App does not grant you any license or transfer of intellectual or industrial‑property rights. Any reproduction, modification, distribution, or public communication of the App or its contents without prior written authorization of SPASCAT or the rights holder is strictly prohibited.

6. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The App and all data and services accessed through it are provided “as‑is” for informational use only. SPASCAT does not guarantee uninterrupted operation or error‑free content.

To the extent permitted by law, SPASCAT disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose or non‑infringement.

SPASCAT shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising directly or indirectly from:

  • the use or inability to use the App;
  • inaccuracies or omissions in the data provided by SIGPAC or third‑party providers;
  • interference, technical failures, malware, or security issues beyond SPASCAT’s control; or
  • actions or decisions taken based on information shown in the App.

7. Privacy

SPASCAT handles personal data in accordance with the Privacy Policy available within the App and on www.spascat.com. By using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted it.

8. Modifications to the Terms

SPASCAT may update or revise these Terms at any time. The latest version will always be published within the App and/or on our website. Continued use of the App after updates implies acceptance of the revised Terms.

9. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Spanish law. For any dispute arising from the interpretation or execution of these Terms, the parties submit to the Courts and Tribunals of Barcelona (Spain), unless otherwise provided by mandatory law.
